Position Overview
The Ordinary Seaman (OS) reports to the Master and supports safe vessel operations by standing lookout watch, assisting with navigation and deck duties, and performing general maintenance. This role is ideal for motivated individuals looking to build maritime experience while supporting safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Stand watch as lookout and assist with steering and helm duties as directed
- Maintain vessel decks and exterior, including cleaning, painting, and rust chipping
- Assist with navigation and communication, including chart upkeep and navigation equipment support
- Maintain safety and emergency equipment and respond to emergency situations as required
- Support cargo operations, including loading, unloading, securing, and line handling
- Assist with maintenance and repair of shipboard equipment using hand and power tools
- Perform general deck duties in support of vessel operations
- Organizational Responsibilities
- Regardless of assigned duties, the Ordinary Seaman is expected to follow all CEES production, safety, and quality procedures.

- Valid MMC with Ordinary Seaman (OS) endorsement

- API RP2D Rigging
- Water Survival
- First Aid / CPR
- Incipient Fire Fighting
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum age: 18
